Restaurant features

The center is a little off the street of Noto’s famous morning market.

L’Atelier de Noto, a French restaurant representing Noto, is housed in an old private house (nagaya), which used to be a quaint Wajima-nuri lacquerware workshop.

The interior has a beautiful courtyard and the atmosphere of a townhouse, so you can feel the “Japanese atmosphere” even though it is a French restaurant.

Oysters, clams, puffer fish, flounder, sea bream, abalone, and other ingredients that go well with French cuisine, and are locally produced.

Sur le mur devant les toilettes se trouve une illustration dessinée à la main par Go Nagai !

Le simple fait de voir cette rare peinture en direct me donne l’impression de l’avoir.
